Dear Editor and Denise Lodge,

Thank you so much for your very informative and insightful article on pickleball , a sport
that over 1000 enjoy at South Surrey Rec, adjacent to White Rock BC - on the Semiahmoo peninsula. This is the largest program in our Rec center and continues to grow.
Although, a sport for all ages , Seniors and the games are often the first welcoming contact
that people have of this volunteer run, little visibility sport. You have helped to move the bar on pickleball for your readers. Since the photos featured are from 2010, for more recent pix and info please visit www.bcpickleball.com our provincial website.

Eating vegetarian is great only when you know how to cook well with fresh vegetables. I entertain and serve carnivores fabulous vegetarian dishes and they scarf them down, never even noticing they are vegetarian! Those same people would never consider ordering vegetarian food at a restaurant because they would imagine healthy and delicious to be mutually exclusive adjectives. I welcome this book and expect it will provide both excellent tips and recipes.

Light therapy for SAD is wonderful. I use light every day - a wake up light to get up calmly earky in the morning, and a light box every day for 30 minutes to boost my energy. I haven't experienced any side effects so far..I highly recommend it!

Thanks to all who entered and good luck to those who are climbing. I absolutely encourage you to go. It is an experience you will never forget. If you have questions about the climb, I would be happy to answer them through my website.

If you didn't win, you might want to check the book out at www.Amazon.ca.

Best wishes to all through the festive season.

Bright light treatment and even dawn simulation are two forms of seasonal affective disorder light therapy that can help. Bright light treatment calls for you to sit in front of a light simulator for a half an hour or even longer, usually in the morning. Dawn simulation is a created light that comes on each day and gets brighter with time, like a sunrise.

Thanks for using one of my photos! Funny that it's for an article about Paleo diet, but the picture was taken years before I started pursuing a paleo lifestyle. Cool!

I am so glad to see an article such as this written. I am now left with no family to share the holidays with each year. I remember when there were a lot of us. We all should get along and make each moment special because there will be a time that each person will understand that very reason. Thank you for posting.
