		<description><![CDATA[Good thorough story about my second favorite sport!  I love it and have done it for years, it gives you a look at some of the beauties of winter that you would never see from a car - ice beads on tree branches, flocks of geese up close, the rush of a brook thawing.  

I definitely advise adding gaiters to the outerwear before you don your snowshoes. These waterproof items slip over your boots and have a strap that goes under them.  they go up to the knee and prevent snow from getting into your boots.  wet snow in your boots is a real day-spoiler!]]></description>
