Summer weather calls for healthy, refreshing treats that will keep us going throughout the day. Instead of picking up that convenient sugary popsicle, or that bowl of ice-cream grab a healthy snack that will fill your body with the nutrition it craves, and give you sustained energy. Smoothies are a great way to cool down during the summer heat. Not only are they simple to make, but they are full of antioxidants which are beneficial in preventing numerous cancers, and illnesses.
