Impowerage Seniors Boot Camp for your Physical & Financial Health
This free event hosted by Impowerage and sponsored by the Langley Seniors Village will be held Monday night, June 28th in Langley, BC.
Speakers will share their expertise on aging well and managing your money during retirement. Dr. Carolyn Anderson, the founder of Impowerage, will be speaking on the keys to aging well. Carolyn works with thousands of seniors in her practice as a cataract surgeon. She’s seen first hand how keeping active, eating well and having the right attitude help seniors live life to the fullest.
Susan Manning, a personal trainer with over 30 years of experience will be leading the group in a variety of exercises. She will show you ways to keep fit and keep active with safe and easy exercises. Susan regularly answers questions on exercising for readers and is the co-author of It’s Never Too Late To Be Fit, a comprehensive guide for seniors’ fitness.
Heather Compton and Dennis Blas are our resident financial experts who answer readers questions each month. Heather and Dennis regularly present seminars through their company Retirement Rocks and will present on managing your money during retirement. They’ll show you how to have a rich retirement even without being rich by having the right outlook and an appreciation for the everyday awesome.
