Moon Landing Anniversary
44 years ago, on July 21st, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first men to walk on the moon. “One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”
July 24- Lynda Carter, who appeared in The New Original Wonder Woman, turned 62. Apparently one of her superpowers is aging well. She continues to act, sing and tour.
July 24 – Happy 83rd Birthday to Sister Madonna Buder! She is the world record holder for the oldest female to finish the grueling Ironman race at age 82. She attempted another triathlon just last month and we look forward to seeing if she can beat her own record in the upcoming year.
July 26 -Happy 70th Birthday to Sir Mick Jagger. The secret to his longevity despite his rock and roll lifestyle is his work out routine. These days he works out 5 days a week and incorporates pilates, ballet, running and kickboxing to stay in shape. When on tour for the Rolling Stones 50th Anniversary tour last year it was estimated that he walked 12 miles during each concert.
July 26- Happy 68th Birthday to Dame Helen Mirren. She is an English actor who has won an Academy Award, four BAFTAs, three Golden Globes, four Emmy Awards, and two Cannes Film Festival Best Actress Awards.
